History of Unicorn

Legend has it that these mythological four-legged wonders are at best, virtually impossible to catch. They are the only fabled beast ever cooked-up by human imagination that imposes no danger to mankind or the creatures of the earth. Unicorns pose no threat to any race of animal or man, which makes them unique, loveable and respectable.

Medieval lore of India and China tells of the horn of a unicorn having the power to heal wounds and neutralize poisons. If ingested, it was said to bring powers of telekinesis.

Unicorns

Prehistoric cave paintings discovered first in France show evidences of the belief in unicorns early in ancient legend. While unicorns are fabled to be relatively impossible to catch, there is but one weakness the creature possess which allows it to be brought safely into captivity with little struggle: the charm of a virgin. According to legend, a unicorn has an innate sixth sense which allows it to determine whether or not a woman is a virgin. Only she who possesses the untainted innocence of virginity is able to woo a unicorn to her side.
